1. Selecting the Forming Kit

The bundle comes with three forming kits: 

• one for traditional injection pipes with a diameter of 6mm, 
• one for common rail injection pipes with a diameter of 6mm, 
• one for pipes with a diameter of 8mm. 

Each kit includes:

• a forming head to be inserted onto the press stem, 
• two semi-shells that act as clamps to hold the pipe during the forming operation, 
• a gauge to determine the exact measurement where to lock the pipe, leaving free the part to be deformed.

2. Positioning the Protrusion Gauge

Place the protrusion gauge on a flat surface (for example, the work table). Rest the two semi-shells on the gauge.

3. Inserting the Pipe

Position the pipe cut-off between the two semi-shells. These are held in place by the conical ring.

4. Positioning in the Press Housing

Now place the assembly (conical ring, clamp, and pipe) in the appropriate housing of the press.

5. Locking the Pipe

Use the protrusion gauge to tighten the clamp and securely lock the pipe. Once done, remove the protrusion gauge.

6. Forming the Pipe

Operate the manual pump to generate the necessary pressure to deform the end of the pipe and create the correct shape.

7. Unlocking the Pipe

To unlock the pipe, position the appropriate extraction spacer under the assembly.
